Cecily Decker

Cecily is from Saranac Lake, New York and grew up skiing in the strong NYSEF program at Whiteface Mountain just outside of Lake Placid, the site of two Olympic Winter Games. Cecily joins the USA’s C Team for the 2017 season after coming off a breakout 2016 season with 9 podiums including 5 wins – this gave her the honer of earning the Golden Ski Award! Some key wins included her first NorAm downhill at Lake Louise, and the DH at the North American Junior Championships at Copper Mountain. And finished out the season by winning a FIS DH in Aspen.

She loves to go fast and says she

“chose Briko’s Vulcano FIS helmet because it makes me feel safe and secure, and I can keep my focus on the course”.

She fits well on Briko’s alpine women’s team with fellow speedsters Lindsey, Laurenne, and Alice.

When Cecily isn’t skiing, she enjoys hiking, paddling and trail running, as well as time with her family and dog Moon. And as a true Upstater, still claims Whiteface as her favorite ski mountain!
